The pedal crank bearing has a part, which is designed as a threaded sleeve (2) and has sickle shaped recesses (4). The sickle shape is narrowed in the desired mounting state and the opening ends are drawn near or lie against each other with their split end edges. The segments (5) formed by the recesses are displaced outwards between the adjacent split end edges at the free ends of the segments in a radial manner in a pre-mounting state.
