The motor vehicle (10) has a combustion engine and a stop starting system for the execution of automatic stops and automatic starts of the combustion engine, a starter device (3) with a starter engine (7) and a current rigging device (5) for adjustment of a starter stream, which is supplied for starting the combustion engine. The motor vehicle has a pedal value sensor (2) for the determination of position of accelerator of the motor vehicle and a controller (1), which is indirectly or directly connected with the current rigging device. An independent claim is also included for a starting method for starting a combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
