The body i.e. retaining strip (9), has a keyhole counter-element (11) i.e. pin, and a catch element (13) that is arranged at a spring element (12) for locking the molded body at a car body. The spring element is formed as a single-sided clamped beam element and a springy tab in an integral region of the molded body. The keyhole counter-element comprises a t-shaped sectional shape with a heading (15), which comprises diagonally aligned rear end regions. The keyhole counter-element is surrounded by a circulating edge. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a molded body.
