The assistant unit has a lens (4) i.e. rod lens, indicating objects such as texts, images and other diagrams in an enlarged manner, where the objects are illuminated by lighting using LEDs i.e. organic LEDs, and noted, as needed. The lens is made of plastic, acryl or Plexiglas(RTM: Weather resistant thermoplastic). The lens enlarges 3 to 5 lines of the text around factor 1.7 to 2. A light guard is made of light-conductive plastic, and an auto focus camera (3) records the objects. A touch-screen is utilized as a user-interface and designed as resistive or capacitive display.
