The method involves attaining an additive torque between a minimal possible reference-torque (M-min) and a maximal possible reference-torque (M-max) by a combustion-engined drive (1) and an electromotive drive (2). An electronic control unit (3) assigned to a drive system detects the position (FP) of a power control element operated by the driver as input signal between a minimal displacement and a maximal displacement.
