The device (10) has a base body (11) with an exhaust opening serving as exhaust gas inlet (12) and two exhaust openings (13, 14) serving as exhaust gas outlets. An adjustable body (15) is arranged in the base body and displaceably rotated around a rotational axis (16). The adjustable body influences flow of the exhaust gas entering in the exhaust inlet based on a position of the adjustable body in the base body in such a manner that the exhaust gas is discharged from the device either through one of the outlets or two of the outlets.
