The method involves providing an entrance i.e. earth hole, in a region of branching and/or coupling position of a coaxial ground cable (A), and exposing two ends of the cable in the region of the entrance. Two ends of a copper foil (8) are connected to a power supply and a passage of the foil taking place under common heating of the foil and a dielectric (9) consisting of polyethylene. A vibration unit (11) is arranged parallel to a copper guard (10) for releasing the dielectric from the foil surrounding the guard in a cladding-shaped form. The dielectric is completely removed from the guard.
