The device has a container (3) for detachable storage of a lure (1) and comprising a stamp-like unit (4) for fixing the detachably mounted lure. A metallically formed hook is inserted into the container and removed from the container, where the container and the unit limit a space region (5) for retaining the lure. An opening (6) is alternatively provided at the container for filling the lure and/or for inserting or removing the hook. A magnet (7) is provided for attracting the hook, and an actuator (9) is provided at the unit. The unit and the container are made of plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a lure in a hook.
