The briefcase has an aramid fabric fastened between outer- and inner covers, where adjacent portions of the aramid fabric are sewn up together by aramid fibers. A safety lock is provided with an alarm unit that sends an alarm signal for determining a position of the briefcase during activation. The alarm unit comprises a transponder which receives and sends a global positioning signal (GPS) to a GPS receiver over a mobile wireless local area network (WLAN). A position of the transponder is adjusted with respect to a position of the GPS receiver. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing transporting of electronic format valuable document and electronic format information using a security brief case.
