The composite (1) has multiple individual cells (2) interconnected in a parallel and/or serial manner. Each cell has a housing formed of electrical isolating housing frames (2.1.2) that are arranged between cladding metal sheets (2.1.1). Adjacent cells are pressed together by a clamping element (6) e.g. tie rod (6.1) and band (6.2), in an axial direction. The frames are formed of thermoplastic resin and provided with a reinforcing element in a region (B) of the clamping element to produce injecting force. The reinforcing element is made of ceramic, glass and fiber reinforced plastic.
