The collector (1) has a front side solar electrical element that is cooled at a rear side (5) for using solar thermal energy. Rear side of air-tight sealed solar electric cells (2) is directly moistened by a cooling medium. A cooling unit (3) is guided by a control structure in a form of structured thermoformed film (4) or baffle, where the control structure is attached on the solar cells and comprises a deep-drawn unit made of thermoplastic film. A pump is operated with electrical energy that is diverted from power output of the solar cells.
