The device has rails (1) forming a channel and a pipe or hose (3) connected with each other. The rails are traversed by a heat transfer medium in an installed state. Hollow profile rails are used for mounting photovoltaic modules, where ends of the rails are provided with a seal and a coupling device (2) for the pipe. Heat conducting elements (101) are slid into grooves in the profiled rails. The rails are mounted on the surface using a thermally insulating spacer, so that water drains from the rails. Openings are arranged in a ridge, so that a roof side holds a module box. An independent claim is also included for a photovoltaic system comprising a photovoltaic module.
