The arrangement (10) has two premixers (16, 22) connected with two fresh-air ducts (12, 18) and two recirculation air pipes (24, 30) for mixing fresh air guided across the fresh air ducts into the premixers and recirculation air guided across the recirculation air pipes into the premixers. A main mixer (36) is connected with the premixers via premixed air pipes (38, 40). The main mixer is supplied with premixed air from the premixers via the premixed air pipes. A filter unit (28) is arranged in the recirculation air pipes for filtering the recirculation air flowing via recirculation air pipes. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a mixer arrangement for an air conditioning apparatus of an airplane.
