The station (10) has heat exchangers (28) for decoupling thermal energy from exhaust gas of a combustion engine. The heat exchangers are arranged in an exhaust gas passage (22) of a combustion engine (12). A burner (26) is arranged upstream to the exchangers in the gas passage of the engine, and increases thermal energy in the exhaust gas. The exchangers are designed such that the exchangers uncouple thermal energy with the burner, where the energy is guided from the burner into the exhaust gas. A catalytic converter (24) is arranged in the gas passage of the engine.
