The pipe socket for attaching to a front opening of a keyhole channel of a shaft furnace, comprises a first tube end (7) that is dimensioned and configured to be mounted at a stop froze of a keyhole tamping machine, a second tube end (8) that is dimensioned and configured opposite to the first tube end to be closely placed on the opening of the keyhole channel of the shaft furnace, and tube extensions (5) that are dimensioned and configured on the pipe socket for the supply of a mixed material under mixed pressure over the pipe socket in the opening of the keyhole channel. The pipe socket for attaching to a front opening of a keyhole channel of a shaft furnace, comprises a first tube end (7) that is dimensioned and configured to be mounted at a stop froze (12) of a keyhole tamping machine, a second tube end (8) that is dimensioned and configured opposite to the first tube end to be closely placed on the opening of the keyhole channel of the shaft furnace, and tube extensions (5) that are dimensioned and configured on the pipe socket for the supply of a mixed material under mixed pressure over the pipe socket in the opening of the keyhole channel of the shaft furnace. The pipe socket comprises a steel plate (20), which is attached in an inner side of the pipe socket near to the first tube end, dimensioned and configured to a machine side seal of the pipe socket, which is configured around with the help of a number of plug sockets to be mounted, sleeve socket or clamps to an exit of the stop froze of the keyhole tamping machine. The pipe socket is configured: for mixing material under a pressure of 15-25 bar in the opening of the keyhole channel to be pressed; and for attaching a fixed sealing ring at the second end, which is provided after setting the pipe socket between the opening of the keyhole channel and the pipe socket of a seal so that the mixed material is pumped in a temperature of 200-500[deg] C under high pressure into the keyhole channel; and for the sealing ring of wood. The pipe socket comprises a welded steel plate in the inner side of the pipe socket nearer to the second end and an angled tube (21) that is dimensioned and configured, where the pipe socket forms a first end of the angled tube and the second end of the angled tube protrudes from the second end of a mixed socket. The angled tube passes through the opening into the steel plate. The pipe socket is configured for the supply of a refractory material having thixotropic properties and for setting on a high furnace for a pig iron production. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a pipe sector for mixing of stitching holes of shaft furnaces.
