The valve has a cylindrical valve housing (1) for retaining an axial displaceable control piston comprising an annular section with periphery-sided recesses (3) that are evenly distributed in an axial direction. A passage area of the recesses is formed such that the recesses connect the valve to fluid ports (4) and simultaneously ensure a filter function. The recesses are introduced into the housing by a shaping method or a laser drilling process. Multiple annular grooves (5) are formed for formation of the ports at an outer circumference side of the housing.
