The control arm (1) has a holder (2), where bearing bushes (3,3') are welded at axle stub ends of the holder. A joint housing (4) is welded on holder back plate (6) of the holder. The holder is formed from an extruded section through bending. The extruded profile has a hollow chamber running along the longitudinal direction of the extruded profile. The holder, bearing bush or the joint housing is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy.
