The container (10) has an elastic force generating body (24) protruded into a housing (12) and including a filling space (30) for a filling material. The body is elongated in an unfilled state and radially and axially expanded with respect to a longitudinal axis (28) of the body when filling the housing with the filling material. Expansion characteristic of the body enables radial connection of the body with a cylindrical cover part (16) of the housing during filling. The axial expansion of the body enables approaching of the body to a base part (18) of the housing during continuous filling. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling a container with a filling material.
