The transfer printing press (1) comprises a plunger (5) adjustable by a pneumatic or hydraulic actuator (8). The actuator has a hose (9), where axial ends (10,11) of the hose are closed in an airtight or liquid tight manner. The hose has an annular-shaped transverse contour in a non-constructed condition in the transfer printing press. An inner layer of the hose is made of elastic material, particularly rubber. An outer layer of the hose has a fabric, particularly made of plastic or metal.
