Noise protection device for reducing noise of internal combustion engine of car, has circular chamber divided into two absorption chambers that are communicated with acoustic channel by set of absorption drillings
The device has a circular element (1) with two identical resonance chamber sections (2, 3) that are arranged opposite to each other. The sections are connected in the center of the element by circulating welding seams (4) to limit a centrally arranged acoustic channel that is surrounded by a circular chamber. The chamber is divided into two absorption chambers by two radial separation walls, where the absorption chambers communicate with the acoustic channel by a set of absorption drillings. Geometry of the absorption drillings allows effective absorption of noise emissions.
