The device (1000) has planner shielding elements (100a-100d) i.e. circle-sector-shaped shielding elements, arranged adjacent to each other in a plane in an installation condition, where the elements cover an induction heating coil. The shielding elements comprise electrical conductive strip center conductors (101a-101d) attached to a reference potential i.e. ground potential, and electrical conductive strip transverse conductors (102a-102d) electrically connected with the center conductors, where the transverse conductors are vertically arranged to the center conductors.
