The adjustor has a control unit comprising a memory unit for storing vehicle occupant data. A reading unit reads the necessary vehicle occupant data e.g. body size, from the memory by a data carrier. The data carrier obtains the vehicle occupant data in form of a defined two-dimensional image of a digital image capture system i.e. portable mobile telephone. The control unit or the data carrier is provided with an algorithm from the two-dimensional image for determining proportions of given body parts such that the relative automatic adjustment of a seat and vehicle components can be derived.
