The device has dual clutches (100) arranged on opposite sides of a common center plate (126) that is mounted over a support bearing (137) i.e. ball bearing. The bearing is arranged in a center opening (136A) in the center plate. A ramp device is arranged between the bearing and the center plate. The cone-shaped section of the ramp device includes an angle that enables self-locking of sliding movement from the bearing to the center plate. The bearing receives axial and radial forces.
