Method for moving window pane of motor vehicle, involves exposing window pane to force by drive to release stuck window pane, and providing value for force as function of temperature

The method involves detecting (S12) sticking of a window pane of a motor vehicle, where the window pane is exposed to force by a drive i.e. electric drive, to release the stuck window pane. A value for the force is provided as a function of temperature, and the window pane is exposed to the force of another value when the force of the former value does not sufficient to release the window pane, where the latter value is greater than the former value. A time span of application of the force is provided as a function of temperature. An independent claim is also included for a window lifter device for moving a window pane of a motor vehicle.
