The housing comprises a mechanical interface (12) that comprises a locking unit and/or a thread. A machine, a tool or a machine part (6) comprises a receiving opening (4), and another part of the electrical plug connection is connected with the former part of the plug connection. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmitting data between two computers.
