The stabilizer (1) has a bent stabilizer arm (4) arranged in a torsion bar (3). A connecting rod (5) is jointed to the arm, and has stabilizer and absorber connecting rod sections (6, 7) that are connected with one another by a connecting rod joint (8) around a connecting rod rotation axis (11). The stabilizer connecting rod section is rotatably connected with the arm by a stabilizer joint (9) i.e. swivel joint, around a stabilizer arm rotation axis (12).
