The device (1) has a supply roller (23) provided for a set of yarns (Y) and aligned parallel to a winding axis (A1). The supply roller comprises a rotation axis that is formed parallel to the winding axis. Another supply roller (24) comprises another rotation axis that is aligned parallel to the winding axis. The former supply roller is movable orthogonally to the former rotation axis between two positions in direction parallel to a plane. The yarn is placed on the former supply roller such that the yarn slides along transverse direction of the former supply roller.
