The control module has link generation module that generates a link between a provider module and a consumer module. An interface contract module generates an interface contract corresponded to an interface of a product including link. The interface contract defines the interface based on a bill of materials (BOM). An interface assembly module assembles modules including provider module and consumer module to generate the product. An interface viewing module displays logical and physical views of the product on display before/after assembly of the product. An independent claim is included for product line managing module.
