The system has a wireless mobile server (12) for receiving a request from a wireless mobile device (14). A service provider server (8) provides information about assignment of identifiers to actual delivery devices (2), and communicates with the mobile server and the delivery devices. The request is transmitted from the mobile server to the service provider server, and a connection to one of the delivery devices is produced and controlled such that the delivery device delivers quantity of consumption units i.e. current, corresponding to desired target amount. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlled delivery of a consumption unit to a user.
