The solar collector is provided as a flat collector or tube collector with a radiation focusing device. A heat conduction link of a heat conductor of the tube shaped radiation absorbers, are distanced from the walls of the tube shaped outer shell. A gas-tight outer shell-connector has a heat conduction connector. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a compound system with a hollow space; (2) a method for producing a compound system; (3) a solar collector system with a steam piston engine; and (4) energy product, particularly mechanical energy which is produced by the solar collector.
