Hair treatment agent comprises (in wt.%, based on the weight of the agent): (a) dicocoyl pentaerythrityl distearyl citrate (0.001-5); (b) a quaternary ammonium compound (0.1-10) comprising e.g. esterquats, a quaternary imidazoline compound (I), an amine or a cationized amine, poly(methacryloyloxy ethyltrimethylammonium compounds), quaternized cellulose derivatives, preferably polyquaternium 10 or polyquaternium 67, cationic alkyl polyglycosides, cationized honey and/or cationic guar derivatives; and (c) at least one nourishing fat component (0.1-10) comprising silicones and/or oil bodies. Hair treatment agent comprises (in wt.%, based on the weight of the agent): (a) dicocoyl pentaerythrityl distearyl citrate (0.001-5); (b) a quaternary ammonium compound (0.1-10) comprising esterquats, a quaternary imidazoline compound of formula (I), an amine and/or a cationized amine, poly(methacryloyloxy ethyltrimethylammonium compounds), quaternized cellulose derivatives, preferably polyquaternium 10 and/or polyquaternium 67, cationic alkyl polyglycosides, cationized honey, cationic guar derivatives, chitosan, polymeric dimethyldiallylammonium salts and their copolymers with esters and amides of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, copolymers of vinylpyrrolidone with quaternized derivatives of dialkylaminoalkyl acrylate and -methacrylate, vinylpyrrolidone-vinylimidazolium methochloride copolymers, quaternized polyvinyl alcohol, polyquaternium-2, polyquaternium-7, polyquaternium-16, polyquaternium-17, polyquaternium-18, polyquaternium-24, polyquaternium-27 and/or polyquaternium-74; and (c) at least one nourishing fat component (0.1-10) comprising silicones and/or oil bodies. R : 8-30C hydrocarbon (optionally saturated and optionally branched); and A : physiologically acceptable anion. An independent claim is also included for treating keratin fibers, comprising applying the above hair treatment agent on the keratin fibers, and further rinsing the keratin fibers, after a residence time of the agent for few seconds, preferably upto 45 minutes.
