The vehicle has a crash protection device i.e. air bag (2), protecting people e.g. pedestrian or cyclist. A detection unit detects crash of the people on an outer windscreen region (1). The airbag is formed as a partially transparent structure. The airbag is arranged on a windscreen wiper region (1.1) or a region of a bonnet (1.2), which is raised by a hydraulic mechanism in case of person crash. The airbag is released when person crash occurs and in dependence of predetermined running speed of the vehicle.
