The cover has a top material bearing convertible roof rack (10) comprising a fabric material clamping bar (24) at respective front ends (26) of the clamping bar. A bearing element (28) of the roof rack is stored and adjusted between lower and upper positions. The bearing element is mounted on a respective associated portion i.e. pillar element (14), of the roof rack and moved between the lower and upper positions. The front end of the material clamping bar in a lower position is supported on a respective support element at the corresponding bearing element.
