The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing 0.3-30 wt % (m/m) of amlopidine besilate and 0.1-75 wt %(m/m) of lisinopril dihydrate as active ingredients in admixture with one or more excipient(s) commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry with the proviso, said excipient is other than a calcium salt of phosphoric acid. A process for the preparation of the above composition is also within the scope of the invention.
