PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste ink storing structure which enables collection of waste ink for a long period of time by preventing a decrease of the permeation absorption performance of an ink absorber material fitted in a storage space, and to provide an ink cartridge equipped therewith, and an inkjet printer.;SOLUTION: The waste ink storing structure 17 in the ink cartridge 10 is constituted of a storing space 51 which is sectioned and formed by a lower case 33 and an intermediate vessel wall 35 to store the waste ink, a waste ink introducing part 37 for introducing the waste ink into the storing space 51, a ventilation hole 61 which communicates the storing space 51 to connect with the outside, two sheets of ink absorbing materials 63 which are fitted in the storing space 51 to absorb through permeation with the waste ink introduced into the storing space 51 from the waste ink introducing part 37, and an opening and closing valve 65 which opens and closes the ventilation hole 61.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
