PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device for actualizing highly accurate constant negative pressure control with a less number of processes under various environment.;SOLUTION: The intake control device is provided for an internal combustion engine which has a variable valve train for controlling an intake air amount while continuously adjusting at least the lift amount of an intake valve, and a throttle valve for holding gauge pressure in an intake pipe to be predetermined target gauge pressure. The device comprises a means for finding a reference throttle opening area from a target intake air amount with reference to a first table showing a relationship between the intake air amount and a throttle opening area under predetermined reference gauge pressure, reference atmospheric pressure and a reference intake air temperature, and a means for finding the throttle opening area to achieve the target gauge pressure while correcting the reference throttle opening area with a correction parameter derived from the Bernoullis low using the target gauge pressure, current atmospheric pressure and a current intake air temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
