The method involves activating a thermo-activatable adhesive e.g. hot melt adhesive, of a coated side (18) of an insert strip (16) at the level of a zone where a tear strip (20) is placed. The tear strip is plated against the insert strip in order to integrate the tear strip with the insert strip, where the tear strip is made of bolduc and the insert strip is made of paper e.g. Kraft paper. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for implementing a method of producing an insert strip (2) an insert strip integrated to a turned down part of a head of a bag.
