The present invention relates to a device making it possible to connect the left of a domestic animal, and more particularly a telescopic leash, to a fixed support, such as a wall or the ground. The device is composed of an adapter (1) and a receiver (2) designed to receive the handle (3) of a leash reel (4). The adapter (1) is constituted by a sleeve (11) which may be in various forms, comprising at one of its ends a projecting rod (12) forming an angle between 0° and 90° with the longitudinal axis of the sleeve (11), and whose free part has a thread (13), the other end of the sleeve (11) comprising connecting and fixing means (14) to the support intended to receive the device.
