The device has right and left control winches (2, 4) pulling respective right and left brake lines of a traction wing and actuated by a computer (1). A traction winch (3) pulls two traction lines (5) of the traction wing, and is connected to the computer. The right and left control winches and the traction winch are fixed to the boat.
