A machine (m) comprises a functional assembly (ef) which is intended to be introduced into the interior of a structure (sv) of a motor vehicle in order to perform at least one operation once it has arrived in a working position. The structure (sv) comprises at least one opening (op) adapted to this introduction and is placed on a support (sp) which comprises a part (ps1) substantially parallel to a transverse direction (y) of the structure (sv), - same perpendicular to a longitudinal direction (x).
