The couch (10) has a base panel (14) articulated on a storage drawer (12). A backrest panel (16) is articulated on the storage drawer and the base panel. The base and backrest panels are moved between a bench seat configuration and a bed configuration. A footrest (28) is articulated on the base panel to reach a deployed position in which the footrest is extended in prolongation of the base panel, and a retracted position in the storage drawer. The base panel includes a frame (20) and a bar mounted transversely inside the frame.
