The assembly has a transparent or translucent frontage (16) turned toward interior of a motor vehicle. A hollow space (20) is formed opposite to the interior with respect to the frontage. A light source (22) is installed inside the hollow space for emitting luminous rays. A film (24) comprises a determined pattern and/or determined color, where the film is placed inside the hollow space to intercept the luminous rays before reaching the frontage to project the determined pattern on the frontage and/or to color the frontage. The film is made of polyester, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene or polycarbonate.
