Protection sheet (I) comprises material comprising a mixture of at least one ethylene vinyl acetate/ polyethylene (EVA/PE), organically modified clay, and ammonium polyphosphate (APP). An independent claim is included for producing protection sheet comprising: (a) preparing a first mixture of EVA/PE and organically modified clay in form of granules in proportions of 97 wt.% and 3 wt.% at a temperature of 160-180[deg] C; (b) preparing a second mixture comprising the first mixture and APP in proportions of 73 wt.% and 27 wt.% respectively, at a temperature of 160-180[deg] C; and (c) cooling the second mixture to room temperature to obtain a composite product; and transforming the composite product into protection sheet.
