Brief description of embodiments of a test of the chain of protection of an aircraft turbojet against overspeeds during a start in manual mode

The method involves sending an order from an electronic regulation system (18) of a turbomachine to a control circuit of a fuel cutoff member (32) to close or maintain the fuel cutoff member in closed position. The closing state of the member is checked from the information representative of a position of the member. An order is sent from the system to the circuit to authorize opening of the member and to maintain a start procedure, if the check result is positive. The information on the defect of an overspeed protection chain is transmitted by the system, if the check result is negative. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing a test for protection of a turbomachine against overspeed.
