The cane has coaxial sections having an upper section (1), an intermediate section (2) and a lower section (3) and sliding one on another. A removable gripping device (8) i.e. pins clamp, is located at a distal end of the cane and activated by a hand lever (7) that is installed on a handle (6), where the handle is placed at a proximal end of the cane. The hand lever and the gripping device are connected by linking systems that are actuated when the cane is in deployed and locked positions. Each linking system has a guide (10) and a rigid transmission rod (9) inside each section.
