The device has relief elements provided with respect to an initial plane of a double stained glass window for hedging and repositioning an ancient sculptured part in an ancient groove or a rabbet. The relief elements are positioned in crimped glass pieces of a lead (3), where the crimpled glass pieces of the lead are welded. An assembly forms a volume box (1) returning with respect to the initial plane of the stained glass window and surrounding a sculptured glass architecture element.
