The device (1) has generating units (2) generating an illumination wave to light an object (6) and to produce a wave signal issued from the object. The generating units are distinct from each other. A reference wave and the illumination wave are coherent temporally. A varying unit (10) varies difference of frequency between the reference and illumination waves. A reduction unit (8) and another reduction unit reduce or prevent crossed interference between the reference wave and the signal wave. A treating unit forms a hologram of the object from acquired interferograms.
