The invention relates to a method for producing a non-retracted tissue equivalent (L). This method is characterized in that: - a mixture (m) containing at least one element of an extracellular matrix is produced; - imbibe, with this mixture (m), at least one support (S) multidimensional; from the components of the mixture (m), a lattice (L) comprising at least one element of an extracellular matrix is produced, at least at the level of the support (S); at least a portion of the components of this mixture (m) are fixed on the support structure (S); the retraction of at least the lattice (L) is prevented and at least this lattice (L) is kept under tension on this support (S); fibroblasts are integrated inside the lattice (L) and at least one cell culture of these fibroblasts is provided at least in the lattice (L). The invention also relates to a method for producing a skin equivalent (P) comprising at least one dermis equivalent (D) consisting of a non-retracted tissue equivalent (L) and at least one equivalent of epidermis (E).
