The headrest has elements articulated together. One of the elements comprises a mobile part pivotally mounted on an upper bar (21) secured to the other element. A clamp (3) comprises a curved bottom portion (30) partially surrounding the bar to create friction between the clamp and the bar. The bottom portion has preformed plane faces (31, 34, 35) that are in contact with the bar. The plane faces are circumferentially distributed on the bottom portion of the clamp, and extend parallel to a rotation axis (A).
