The support (10) has a lockable hinged arm system and a slide (32) for retracting a steering console (18) and a pedal console (28) into a space under the support, respectively. The arm system has an end fixed on the steering console and another end fixed under the support. The slide is mounted at a lower part of the space under the support, and slidably receives the pedal console. The arm system has two arms (24) whose pivoting axes are parallel to transverse direction of the support.
